Start with an inspection!

A roof inspection includes inspection of all areas that are susceptible to water intrusion/leakage. Such areas as chimneys, around plumbing pipes, ventilation, along the gutter line and valleys and proper installation of shingles to ensure the longevity of your roof.

These thorough inspections will make you aware of any weaknesses that may require roof repair or a full roof replacement. 

 

Repairing your roof:

• Remove and replace any shingles indicated in your insurance estimate

• Remove and replace any flashing indicated in your insurance estimate

• Remove and replace any ridge vent and ridge cap indicated in your insurance estimate

Replacing your roof:

• Protect landscaping and outdoor furniture

• Tear off your existing roof down to plywood 

• Inspect for rotten wood and replace any rotten plywood. 

• Install weather-proof felt on the entire roof surface 

• Install ice and water shield

• Install the architectural shingles of your choice 

• Replace attic ventilation (turtle vents, power attic vents and/or ridge vent)

• Replace flashings
